Security keys can only be added as an additional method of MFA.
- Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info
- Click ‘+ Add sign-in method’
- Select ‘Passkey’
- Click ‘Next’
- Click ‘Next’
- Click ‘More Options’
- Click ‘Use Security Key’ and ‘Continue’
- Plugin your YubiKey and TAP the brass circle on the key
- Enter a PIN and click ‘Continue’
- TAP the brass circle on the key
- Enter a name for your passkey and click ‘Next’ to finish the setup
