Security key’s can only be added as an additional method of MFA.
- Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info
- Click ‘+ Add sign-in method’
- Select ‘Passkey’
- Click ‘Next’
- Choose ‘Use a phone, tablet, or security key’
- Choose ‘Security key’
- Plugin the security key into your computer
- Click ‘OK’
- Click ‘OK’
- Enter a pin code for the device
- Click ‘OK’
- Touch the Brass Circle on your YubiKey
- Enter a name for your key
- Click Next
- Click ‘Done’
